One of my haiku was included in a haiku anthology, recently published to commemorate the 15th anniversary of Meguro International Haiku Circle. The book comprised of haikus selected from the lists of haiku introduced at monthly workshops held by Meguro International Haiku Circle between July 2004 - June 2009. Thank you. It’s an honour for me to be included.

a silent shivering night

inside cardboard shelters

- joy to the world?

aku bilang tik tik tik

- andai saja bicaraku seperti hujan

- if only my words came like rain drops

berhenti, menatap langit pekat

disela gegas ratusan pejalan

sepi mengiris-iris jiwa

pausing to gaze at the thick dark sky

among hundreds of rushing commuter

loneliness cuts through the soul

berderap, bergegas

menyongsong hari

- di langit seekor gagak terbahak

seizing the day

- up above a crow burst into laughter

hujan

mengantar turun rasa
